The TNFD (Task Force on Nature-related Financial Disclosure) has become an urgent issue to be addressed, especially by companies listed on prime markets. This webinar will go beyond regulatory compliance and look at the core of strategies and specific approaches to introducing TNFD in order to link ESG management to corporate value enhancement, using actual examples from The Norinchukin Bank.
ESG as an engine of corporate value enhancement
Founded in July 2022, aiESG, which marks its fourth anniversary this month, provides the world's first service that quantitatively assesses ESG risks throughout the supply chain, utilizing AI technology developed by Kyushu University. As one of the achievements of aiESG since its establishment, we have planned a special webinar inviting The Norinchukin Bank, which is actually using aiESG's services, to share its advanced approaches with the public.
For listed companies and companies with global operations, the promotion of true ESG management that goes beyond regulatory compliance is a pressing issue. On the other hand, there are many who say, "I understand the importance of ESG, but I don't know how to promote ESG in concrete terms," or "Information disclosure has become a 'job that has to be done,' and I don't feel that it is leading to increased corporate value.
In particular, the TNFD, whose final recommendations were published in 2023, calls for disclosure of risks and opportunities related to natural capital and biodiversity, and many companies are looking for ways to take the first step.
To address these issues, aiESG, which uses AI technology from Kyushu University to quantitatively assess ESG risks throughout the supply chain, will hold a special webinar with the Norinchukin Bank as a guest speaker.
