Ryosuke Sakai, aiESG Business Solution Department, will speak at the paid seminar "Issues to be overcome and solutions for human rights DD - Strengthening traceability in raw material procurement" hosted by CRT (Caux Round Table) Japan Committee.
The CRT (Caux Roundtable of Business Leaders) is a global network of business leaders dedicated to making society freer, fairer and more transparent through business.
In this seminar, CRT will summarize the key points on what the value standards should be in the future as the world is being shaken by the Trump administration in the United States. In the process of CRT's human rights due diligence (DD) with many companies and direct dialogue with rights holders, one of the issues that companies should challenge is "strengthening traceability of raw materials such as conflict minerals whose supply chain is difficult to grasp. One of the challenges that companies have identified is "strengthening the traceability of raw materials, such as conflict minerals, for which the supply chain is difficult to grasp.
aiESG uses AI and data analysis technology to visualize potential ESG risks in the supply chain that were previously difficult to see. These ESG risks include human rights risks.
In this seminar, Sakai will introduce aiESG.

Mr. Kato joined a major Japanese pharmaceutical company as a new graduate. After transferring from the domestic sales department to the sustainability department, she was engaged in a wide range of work including company-wide promotion of human rights and environmental activities and compliance with international regulations. He joined aiESG in November 2024 and is a member of the Business Solution Department.
