2024 New Year's Message

    • At the beginning of the year 2024, we would like to wish you a Happy New Year.

    Although the New Year has just begun, many people have been affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred on 1 January and some areas have been damaged. We would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to all those in the affected areas. At this difficult time, please accept my best wishes for a speedy recovery and restoration of daily life.

    Last year was a year in which we took a new step forward. Together with you, we have built new value in our mission to provide transparent ESG assessment services to positively impact businesses and society. Looking back, we faced many challenges last year, but with your help and support we were able to steadily grow our business. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to you.

    2023 was a year of increased interest in ESG investment in Japan, as well as an increase in the amount of ESG investment worldwide. Amid increasing demands for information disclosure to investors and stakeholders, corporate sustainability management efforts are accelerating, with the Nature-related Tax Disclosure Task Force (TNFD) officially releasing its final recommendations for an information disclosure framework.

    In our company, we have also exceeded our targets for 2023. We would like to thank our partners, customers and other stakeholders for their generous support and the efforts of our employees. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again.

    However, we will not be satisfied with the results of everything we do, and we will always improve with the viewpoint that we could have had the opportunity to do better, and aim to provide better services.

    In 2024, in addition to improving existing services, we will strive to implement the following new initiatives

    <Launched new business (AI analysis service for integrated reports/region-specific ESG analysis)
    We are launching an AI analysis service for integrated reports. The service provides quantitative strengths-weaknesses analysis when compared to US and European companies, providing information to help strengthen integrated reports.

    In addition, whereas quantitative ESG assessments have been carried out for the entire supply chain using proprietary AI, an ESG analysis service limited to specific regions using satellite images will be added to the service. This will make it possible to visualise the impact of a company's sustainability activities on that region using images.

    We will strengthen our domestic and international communication and make efforts to cooperate with major companies in Europe, the US and South East Asia that are making progress in ESG management. In the G20 report, we will not only present our own case studies, but also those of other related companies, thereby contributing to the international community.

    When working together overseas, mismatches in people, places and opportunities are expected to occur. We will create a mechanism to successfully match these mismatches, support cooperation between partner companies and customer companies that are connected to us, and create a mechanism to make corporate activities proceed more smoothly through us.

    We can expect many changes around the world in the future, but there are three principles that we will always follow in any situation. Work as Team, Work for All and Work Hard.


    Society's demand for correct ESG assessment will further accelerate in the future. That is why we feel strongly about the significance of spreading our neutral and fair ESG assessment methods to society with a sense of urgency. When returning university research to society as a business, it can sometimes be difficult, but we are grateful for the precious opportunity to contribute to society in this way. At any time, important things can be very time-consuming, but we will cherish this opportunity and strive for sustainable growth.

    We are committed to pursuing ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) values and aiming to positively impact businesses and society. This year, we will continue to pursue sustainability and provide services that contribute to the world.
